committee news

New Clubrooms:
Full working plans have been completed and are now out for pricing.
The next stage will be to obtain funding through grants, sponsorship, etc.

Practicing:

Reminder to all club members that you have a responsibility to your co members for the upkeep of our facility.  When you lend a track key to a non BOP club member please ask them for a $15 practice fee per non paid up driving member and ensure that they must fill out the indemnity form and please lock your self in the property when you are practicing.

The club requires more Race Officials for our club days. If you know of anybody that may be interested in this, contact a committee member. This position isnt as daunting as it may sound, and doesnt necessarily require a past karter or racer as all training will be given.

Club members, If you are NOT on the clubs Email list and would like to receive the club's newsletter and  Email notification's about track status, upcoming events, results, working bee's, etc, then email the club, asking to be added to this.

Transponders

The Bay of Plenty Kart Club use AMB transponders at all race meetings. No transponder = no race. Club members can buy or lease a Kartsport NZ transponder here or hire a club transponder for $20 per day. It is the drivers responsibility to have their transponder charged and working on race day.
