| Hi im new to the sport and was wondering what size main jet and stuff i should run for my rotax in the heavy class at te puke? Also what gears should i run? I currently have a 11 tooth front. What is a good lap time there as well? Thanks |

try starting on a 85 or 86 tooth sprocket. Also a 165 jet should be a good starting point too.

I would definitely recommend the 86 tooth sprocket. I was running an 83/11 setup and everyone was disappearing away very quickly through the corners.
Do you have a Mychron or Alfano? You can use data from these to determine what gearing you should be running.

Oh also, if you are keen myself and one of the other rotax guys will be doing a fair bit of practise in Jan and Feb at the BOP track and it would be great to have someone else to practice with.
I am a complete newbie as well, so you are not alone  |
