Anyone running a Mychron ?

I am looking to buy a computer for my kart, the Mychron units look like a much better unit than the Alfano's. Is anyone running one and what is your opinion of them?

I am wanting just lap times, RPM, temp and possibly speed.

I am going to be using it on a AX9 B-Max initially, but may move it onto a ICC shifter later on.

i run a mychron 3 and it works perfectly. i would buy one over alfanos but everyone has there own opinion Surprised

the mychron 3 has everything you are looking for apart from speed. i am not sure that any of them read speed but if any it would be the latest the mychron 4.

I think the mychron may have a better PC software program too, to analyze the recorded data.

I bet my "fast" feeling laps wont seem so fast after I actually know my lap times in comparison to those 36/37 second ones!

Get a mychron 4. I run one on my KZ2 kart. When you have some extra $$ u can buy upgrades for it.
Buy it from a kart shop on Ebay usa. I payed $430(NEW) for mine inc shipping.Lascom they are ($800) Or get one from Motorsport services $580.
Mychron are far better than the alfano. They give a lot more options.
